Wilderness Lodge Safari in Tanzania. Why roughing it when you go wild? Our lodges are within or close to all major parks and reserves in Tanzania. We offer lodges in all comfort levels from standard accommodation with a clean bed, a shower and decent food to luxury lodges with private plunge pool, wine cellar, extra large rooms and fine food.
Which lodges do we recommend?
Most guests that do not request or need luxury will stay on their safari in a lodge from Serena or Sopa. They have a good standard, often a swimming pool, but most important: a stunning location with striking views. If you explore Arusha National Park you should stay at Hatari Lodge which has a fantastic setting right on the foot of Mt Meru surrounded by Acacias and grass plains which attract Buffalo and Giraffe. Warthogs can often be seen around the lodge as well as velvet monkeys. Your honeymoon could start at Ngare Sero Mountain Lodge where an old mansion sits at a romantic lake home to numerous bird species.
If you want to splash out on your safari:
For guests who enjoy the good things in life Tanzania offers a number of luxury and high-end lodges with superb service. On the top end we love Lemala Kuria Hills close to Mara River where you can witness the crossing of thousands of wildebeest and zebras in style. Near Tarangire we adore the treehouses of Elewana Tarangire Treetops where sometimes leopards silently cross under your elevated viewing deck. Arguably the best of the best you find at Singita’s top lodge in a private game reserve bordering the Serengeti: Singita Faru Faru. Here top notch contemporary design meets protection of valuable wildlife areas that you will enjoy exclusively on your game drives.
