There
are few such evocative names as Zanzibar, the island that is part
of Tanzania and lies about 20 miles off the coast near Dar es Salaam.
For the first night you will be based in the old Stone Town, and
have the opportunity to wander through fascinating narrow streets
and the bustling bazaar. The following five nights you will spend
on Zanzibars endless white, palmfringed beaches in a beach resort
of your choice.
Those itineraries start and end at Zanzibar international
airport. Please see here for international
flights for those tours.

DAY 1
Transfer from Zanzibar Airport to Stone Town hotel of your choice.
Around the coast are some lovely beaches and coral reefs. The capital
is Stone Town with its narrow streets and historic Arab influenced
buildings. The best way to see Stone Town is, literally, to get
lost. You can spend hours and hours just wandering the alleys and
squares, drinking potent coffee sold by pavement vendors, or buying
sweetmeats from scores of tiny cafés. Dinner.
DAY 2 - 5
Transfer from your hotel to your coastal resort for 5 nights. Enroute
we will do the Spice
Tour. We have developed a special Spice Tour with indepth
information not only about spices, but also organicaly grown herbs
and a detailed description about their traditional uses in medicine
cosmetics and cooking. After the tour we invite for an opulent lunch,
where you can taste the spices and fruits. This is also the cheapest
place to purchase spices and spice oils. The coast of Zanzibar is
the stuff of dreams: long, sparkling white beaches, crystal lagoons
protected by coral barrier reefs, and literally millions of coconut
palms swaying in the tropical breezes. Zanzibar is one of the most
fascinating places in East Africa. Breakfast and dinner.
DAY 6
Transfer to Zanzibar Airport.
