Zanzibar has some of the best diving spots in East Africa and the coral reef structures that surround the islands of Zanzibar ensure that the marine life is abundant. Good visibility (20 - 60 metres) and a year-round average water temperature of 27°c ensure that you enjoy your Zanzibar diving experience, and also present an ideal opportunity for learning to dive or upgrading your diving qualification.

Beginners and experienced Scuba divers can enjoy great wall dives, night dives and drift dives. In deeper waters on the outer reefs, lush coral gardens often stretch as far as the eye can see, and gamefish like kingfish, tuna, barracuda and wahoo hunt together with large Napoleonic wrasse, graceful manta rays and sharks. Shallower waters are the playground of tropical fish, including a huge variety of Indo-Pacific marine fauna.

This package includes accommodation at a beach hotel of your choice (in the more basic Amaan Bungalows or in the 5 star Blue Bay Beach Resort), Spice Tour and all transfers

day 1
Meet & Greet at the airport of Zanzibar, then transfer to either the Kendwa Amaan Bungalows or the Blue Bay Beach Resort. On the way to the hotel we will do the famous Spice Tour. overnight on half board. Overnight at beach hotel, breakfast and dinner.

day 2-6 (day 2-13)
Scuba diving course (PADI open water) with full equipment (dinving NOT included in the price!). After your theoretical classes, train in the shallow waters of the Indian Ocean or in the swimming pool (Blue Bay Beach Resort), then dive at the reef. The course takes about 4 to 5 days, depending on weather conditions. At the end you will receive a PADI dive certificate. Overnight at beach hotel, breakfast and dinner.

day 7 (day 14)
After breakfast transfer from beach hotel to the airport for your flight back home. (optional Safari extension on the mainland)
