This affordable 14 days private Tanzania Safari
combines northern Tanzania's wildlife experience with the culture
of Zanzibar's Stone Town and its fantastic beaches. Visit Tanzanias
most famous National Parks for 7 days like Tarangire National
Park, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater
and the famous Serengeti, relax in your beach hotel
after a flight from the Serengeti to Zanzibar and
explore endless beaches on Zanzibar. The package
starts in Arusha and ends on Zanzibar. You have the choice between
Camping or Lodges on Safari.
This itinerary starts at Kilimanjaro Airport, JRO,
and ends on Zanzibar airport. Please see here for international

Day 1 ARRIVAL
You will be met at the airport by your Driver/Guide and our
representative. We will take you to your hotel in Arusha, Moivaro
Coffee Lodge for a free day, with your Safari starting
tomorrow. All meals included |

Day 2
Your Safari starts with the drive to Tarangire, Tanzania's
third largest national park and sanctuary for an unusually
large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting
feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath
them. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which
provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There
is a great diversity of wildlife including lion, leopard,
cheetah and up to six thousand elephant. Half day game drive
in the park. Overnight at Tarangire
Safari Lodge at Tarangire. All meals included.

Day 3
After breakfast we depart for Lake
Manyara. Nestling at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment,
the park is recognized for its incredible beauty. You can see
many game animals such as Buffalo, Elephant, Giraffe, Impala,
hippo and others. Overnight at E

Day 4
In the morning drive to Ngorongoro Crater. After arrival in
Ngorongoro you will descend into the crater for a game drive
at the bottom. As very few animals migrate in and out of the
crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions,
elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes,
many birds and other species. Your Driver/Guide will be in contact
with other safari drivers and will amaze you with his skill
at locating the hidden animals. Overnight at Ngorongoro
Sopa Lodge or a lodge at Karatu. All meals

Day 5
After breakfast you start on your way to Serengeti National
Park. A picnic lunch will be provided. After stopping for
your picnic lunch on a kopje (rock outcropping) in Serengeti
you will continue further into the park and go on a game drive.
Overnight in Serengeti, Serengeti
Sopa Lodge or Mapito
Camp Serengeti. All meals included
Day 6
A full day of game drives around Serengeti. Depending on the
time of year and the migration of the herds you can expect
to see wildebeest, lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, monkeys,
baboons, hippos, rhinos, antelopes and many birds and other
species. As in Ngorongoro your Driver/Guide will be in contact
with other safari drivers and will amaze you with his skill
at locating the hidden animals. Overnight in Serengeti, Serengeti
Sopa Lodge or Mapito
Camp Serengeti. All meals included

Day 7
In the morning we bring you to Seronera airstrip, for your
direct flight from the Serengeti to Zanzibar (short
stopover in Arusha). Transfer to the beach hotel The
Zanzibari (upgradeable
to 5 Star Hotel, see supplements on the right menu). Breakfast
and Dinner
(note: if you want to stay at a 5 star
hotel, we recommend the Blue Bay Beach Resort, or the new
Ocean
Paradise Resort). |

Day 8 -11
Relax and enjoy the endless beaches of Zanzibar while staying
in your beach hotel. There is a wide range of water sport activities
you can do, like snorkeling, scuba diving, boat trips and more.

Day 12
After breakfast transfer to the Dhow
Palace in Stonetown.
On the way we will
do the famous Spice
Tour:
We have developed a special Spice Tour with in depth information
not only about spices, but also organically grown herbs and
a detailed description about their
traditional
uses in medicine cosmetics and cooking.
After the tour we invite for an opulent lunch at our guides'
home, where you can taste the spices and fruits. Overnight
in the Dhow

Day 13
Today we will show you Stone Town on our Historical Stone
Town Tour. This tour takes you through fabled Stone Town,
where history appears to stand still. With visits to the House
of Wonders, the Palace Museum (People's Palace), Dr Livingston's
House and the Arab Fort amongst others, it is a fascinating
look at the essence of Zanzibar. You will see Zanzibar's bustling
market, winding alleyways, ornately carved and studded doors,
two cathedrals and countless mosques!
Alternatively you can do a boat tour to Prison Island, the
Safari Blue or a private island trip (for details click here:
full day, extra costs).

Day 14
departure to airport for your flight back home or

In the Serengeti you have the
opportunity to do an unforgetable balloon
ride!
Please note that we only organise private
Safaris, only you and your travel partner(s) will
be on the transfers, tours and the Safari vehicle! And we
can organise that tour for you for any date!
