Sand Rivers Selous has 8 grand open-fronted guest cottages constructed from local wood and stone, each with large en-suite bathrooms and running hot and cold water. This safari lodge in Tanzania has an impressive dining and lounge area, and swimming pool set on the banks of the river.

The hippos, crocodiles, plains game and amazing birdlife of the Selous Game Reserve are often visible on the sandbanks right in front of the lodge.

Sand Rivers Selous is a very good camp set on a bend in the Rufiji just down from Steiglers Groge. It is still the best located camp in the park as it has almost private access to the surrounding area, being set away from the other camps.
