Selous Impala Camp in the Selous Game Reserve, Tanzania,
is the sister camp to Mdonya
Old River Camp in Ruaha Nationl Park. Wheras Mdonya is aimed at
those seeking a rugged safari experience, Impala Camp is much more
luxurious.
The camp itself is attractive and beautifully
set on the Rufiji River bank near Lake Mzizimia amidst
groves of borassus palms and tamarind trees.
There are just 6 well appointed en-suite
tents, making it one of the smallest camps in the Selous.
The tents themselves are stunning, with tasteful local furniture
and decoration.
Like all Selous camps, there are a large variety
of game viewing activities on offer. Impala Camp’s
guiding standards are high and most guests try and experience
the game drives, boat trips, walking excursions and fly camping.
