Day 1: Dar Es Salaam - Selous Game Reserve
Pick up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam by your guide and leave for the Selous Game Reserve which you reach in the afternoon (traveling time some 6-7 hours). After arrival in the afternoon and settling in to your lodge you go on a boat trip to Rujiji River where crocodiles, hippos and grazing game can be seen.

Overnight at Selous Game Reserve. Lunchbox and dinner included.

Day 2: Selous Game Reserve
Full day of game drives at Selous Game Reserve named after the explorer Frederick Selous. The Selous Game Reserve is the largest protected wildlife reserve, a UN World Heritage site and a pristine uninhabited area larger than Switzerland.

The topography of the park varies from rolling savannah woodland, grassland plain and rocky outcrops cut by the Rufiji River and its tributaries. Activities are game drives and a walking safari. Together with an armed ranger or Masai guide you explore the bush by walk.

Overnight at Selous Game Reserve. All meals included.

Day 3: Selous - Dar
Early morning game drive at Selous Game Reserve. After late breakfast you return to Dar Es Salaam with arrival late afternoon/early evening. Breakfast and lunchbox included.
