The rustic Rhino Lodge is situated close to the Ngorongro crater rim in beautiful scenic surroundings. It's the most basic of all lodges in the Ngorongoro conservation area, but an affordable alternative to basic camping at the rim, which can get pretty cold.

The lodge has 24 bedrooms, and features double and twin beds, with an optional third bed. The rooms are simply furnished with Masai décor, have en-suite bathrooms with hot and cold water. Each room has a verandah with views to the lush green environment.

The lodge organises walking safaris at the Ngorongoro Crater rim, guided by a Maasai ranger. You can also visit local Masai Bomas in the nearby area.
