Located near to the sea front, a golf course and a tennis court, the Palm Beach Hotel offers a closeness to relaxing activities in the heart of a busy city centre. The hotel was originally built in 1954 (when it still did have a beach view!) before Dar Es Salaam was fully built up, and serves as a reminder of how things once were there.

The rooms at the hotel all have en-suite bathroom facilities, desk and chairs, large sized beds, and televisions.

Down at the bar they serve a mixture of refreshing beverages, including both local and imported drinks. The restaurant also offers a mixture of local and international cuisine for each meal of the day.
