A private Safari to explore the Ngorongoro Crater, the Serengeti and Manyara Lake, while enjoying comfortable accommodation at Safari Lodges. We normally book in the E Unoto Retreat at Lake Manyara, and Sopa Lodges at Ngorongoro, Serengeti and the Tarangire Safari Lodge, depending on vacancies. At Serengeti we can also book you in our Mapito tented camp.

Please note that we are specialised in private safaris, only you and your travel partner(s) will be on the Safari vehicle! And we can organise that tour for you for any date. Of course we can also help you with airport transfer and hotel bookings in Arusha, just let us know!

3 DAYS NGORONGORO

Day 1: Ngorongoro Crater
Pick up from the hotel in Arusha and transfer to Ngorongoro, en route game viewing, half a day game drive on the crater rim. Late afternoon game drive then we bring you to the Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge on the crater rim for dinner and overnight.

Overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge. Lunch box and dinner included.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater
Breakfast and depart with picnic lunch for a full day crater tour, explore the crater which is famous for its great concertration of wild life. Return to the Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3:
After breakfast visit of a Masai Village, then depart for Arusha arriving by lunch time. Breakfast and lunchbox included.

4 days Ngorongoro, Serengeti

Day 1: Arusha – Ngorongoro
In the morning drive to Ngorongoro Crater. After arrival you will descend into the crater for a wonderful game drive (with a picnic lunch) inside the Ngorongoro Crater often described as one of the wonders of the world. It is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a a natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s densest animal populations.

It is one of the few places where the rare black rhino can be observed in their natural setting. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species. With a bit of luck the ‘Big Five’ can be spotted during one game drive only.

Day 2: Ngorongoro  - Serengeti
After breakfast you start on your way to Serengeti National Park. A picnic lunch will be provided. On the way you will stop at the Olduvai Gorge Museum with artefacts from Olduvai Gorge where anthropologists Louis and Mary Leakey made many significant discoveries, contributing to the theory that human life originated in Africa. After stopping for your picnic lunch on a kopje (rock outcropping) in Serengeti you will continue further into the park and go on a game drive.

Day 3: Serengeti
Early morning game drive to see also nocturnal animals returning from hunting and lions awaking in the dawn A full day of game drives around Serengeti. Depending on the time of year and the migration of the herds you can expect to see wildebeest, lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, monkeys, baboons, hippos, rhinos, antelopes and many birds and other species.

Day 4: Serengeti - Arusha
After breakfast you proceed to Naabi Hill Gate with game viewing en route and return to Arusha (drive of 7- 8 hours). Reach to Arusha late afternoon. Breakfast and lunchbox included.

NB – If you wish to fly there is a supplement of $165 USD per person. The flight leaves at 11:00 from Seronera Airstrip so that there is time for game viewing in the morning on your way to Seronera Airstrip.

Your Tour continues with the drive to Tarangire, Tanzania's third largest national park and sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lion, leopard, cheetah and up to six thousand elephant.

Day 6: Arusha
