Day 1 - Arrival at Zanzibar airport in the morning
and after ½ hour taxi drive to Stone Town
checking into Dhow
Palace (B&B basis). All afternoon is left
to familiarise yourself with Stone Town’s
labyrinth of narrow streets, explore some of its
history and numerous restaurants.
Day 2 - Your second day will show
you Stonetown
on our guided tour, with visits of the former
slave market, the Palace Museum, the House of
Wonders and other highlights. Some time left to
further explore Stone Town and try Forodhani Gardens
for an infamous Zanzibar pizza. Overnight stay
in the Dhow Palace (B&B).
Day 3 – Transfer from Stone
Town to the West Coast with a Spice
Tour along the way. Zanzibar is famous after
all for its cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, pepper and
many other spices. After the tour transfer to
the Menai Bay Beach
Bungalows on the West Coast of Zanzibar (HB
basis).
Day 4 – Just indulge and
relax under a coconut palm on the Menai Bay Beach,
overlooking the Indian Ocean, and maybe explore
the nearby mangrove forests with a canoe. Overnight
stay at the Menai Bay Beach Bungalows (HB basis).
Day 5 – Boat
trip to small islands in the protected Menai
Bay. On
the islands you will find a exposed sandbar, providing
a pristine beach, perfect for relaxation. The
sea around the islands is very good for snorkeling.
Feel like Robinson Crusoe on these untouched coral
islands! Overnight stay at the Menai Bay Beach
Bungalows (HB basis).
Days 6 Dolphin tour in Kizimkazi.
Overnight stay at the Menai Bay Beach Bungalows
(HB basis).
Day 7– Transfer to Zanzibar
airport.
