SPICE TOUR
The history of Zanzibar would be incomplete without
the cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, pepper and many other
spices which brought the Sultans of Oman. They can be
seen in the plantations just outside Zanzibar town,
and a good tour includes opportunities to dazzle the
senses with fresh spices.
The half-day
trip includes transport, guide and entrance fees.

HISTORICAL
CITY TOUR
This tour takes you through fabled Stone Town, where
history appears to stand still. With visits to the House
of Wonders, the Palace Museum (People's Palace), Dr
Livingston's House and the Arab Fort amongst others,
it is a fascinating look at the essence of Zanzibar.
You will see Zanzibar's bustling market, winding alleyways,
ornately carved and studded doors, two cathedrals and
countless mosques!
The half daytrip includes the guide and all entrance
fees except of Palace Museum. This Tour is good to combine
with the Spice Tour.

PRISON
ISLAND BOAT TRIP
Earning its name as a former prison for slaves and
a quarantine station for Zanzibar and the mainland nowadays
the island gives you the chance to escape for some peace
and quiet. The island lies just off the Old Stone Town
and is home to giant tortoises that were imported from
the Seychelles in the late 19th century. It is fringed
with a beautiful coral reef, ideal for snorkelling,
and has a lovely white beach for sunbathing.
The half-day or day trip includes the boat ride, entrance
fees and snorkeling equipment.

JOZANI
FOREST TOUR
The Jozani
Forest is the home of the red colobus monkey, a rare
species found only in Zanzibar. These monkeys
are full of character, and roam freely.
But Jozani is also home to other species including
Sykes monkey's, small buck, chameleon and bush pigs.
Jozani has an excellent nature trail and the guides
are well trained and informative.
A walk through this impressive flora and fauna is one
of the highlights Zanzibar has to offer.
The half-day trip includes the transport, entrance fee
(8 US$) and the guide. It is to combine with the City
Tour, Dolphin Tour or the Spice Tour.

DOLPHIN
TOUR
Situated on the southern point of the island, Kizimkazi
fishing village is home to several schools of bottle-nosed
dolphins and Humpback dolphins, which can often be sighted
following a short boat trip from the village. If you
are lucky, you may be able to swim quite close to the
dolphins, which can be a very rewarding experience.

UNGUJA
UKUU BOAT TRIP
The
lush green West coast of Zanzibar shows the diversity
of the different environments of Zanzibar. This very
special boat trip starts in Unguja Ukuu, far off the
tourist tracks; we are heading to the small unhabitated
islands, Miwi and Nianembe or Kwale in the protected
Menai Bay, where you are shown the unique flora and
fauna of Zanzibar's tropical islands. Often you can
see big groups of dolphins. There are unspoilt beaches
with glooming white sands, perfect for relaxation,
and the sea around the islands is very good for snorkeling.
We will arrange a barbecue with fresh caught fish, local
dishes and tropical fruits. Do not miss this!
The
day trip includes the transfer from Stonetown, motorboat/sailboat, guide,
snorkeling equipment and lunch.
