Kichanga Lodge is situated on a fantastic beach, on the southern East Coast, close to Bwejuu. It is a 1 hrs drive from Stonetown or the airport, on a good road.

The lodge was built on a coral reef, overlooking the stunningly white palm beaches and the fantastic colourful Indian Ocean. It has a 350 stretch of white beach.

There are 24 spacious sea view rooms in total, in different categories:

6 double bungalow rooms with garden and ocean view with air-conditioning, 9 single ocean front bungalows , 4 double rooms ocean front bungalows, 3 Villas Front Ocean View and 1 VIP Suite.

All the rooms have sea view, and are tastefully furnished with African arts and Zanzibari furniture, mosquito nets, fans, a room safe, minibar, attached bathroom with hot and cold water, and hair dryer

The main building on the top of the cliff hosts the reception, restaurant and bar, internet point and library.

The lodge has its own Scuba Diving and Snorkeling Center, and offers special dive packages on different dive spots on Zanzibar. Furthermore the dive center can organise Dhow cruises and deep sea fishing.
