The new Hakuna Majiwe Lodge is located between the villages of Jambiani and Paje, on the South East Coast of Zanzibar. Set on a fabulous 6 kilometres white, sandy palmfringed and deserted beach, cooled by the ocean breeze, it is the perfect gateway to an exotic african paradise. Due to its isolated location you can perfectly relax here.

The Lodge has 18 sea-front rooms in double bungalows, and are beautifully located within about 30m of the beach. All rooms are equiped with big bathrooms, hot water, wardrobe, ceiling fan and mosquito nets and a large verandah. The rooms have all been individually designed to offer style, comfort and personality.

Hakuna Majiwe also has a family room measuring 6x6 metres and can comfortably accommodate 2 adults and 2 children, or 3 adults. As all the rooms of the bungalows are semi detached, you could also house your children in the room next to you quite safely.

The spacious seaview restaurant offers a mix of italian and swahili cuisine, excellent food! At the well stocked bar you can get beers, south african wines and a wide variety of liquers.

During low tide the 27 meter swimming pool offers a good alternative for water enthusiastics.
