Year 2011 We were overjoyed to have reached peak of Kili.Gidion & Hiji were the key to us achieving this. Safari was wonderful. Whilst the Zanzibar set up was more suited to honeymooners or couples my son & I did enjoy it a lot. Maybe one less day at resort and an extra in Stonetown. Guides/drivers for all venues on time & very helpful. Howard - September 2011 --------------------------------- Everything was perfectly organized. Lodges and hotels very nice, our guide was very knowledgeable and able to show us a lot of animals. The driver and guide in Zanzibar also showed us a lot of Zanzibari history and traditions. We had the most brilliant time, definitely the holiday of a lifetime! All the arrangements went very smoothly and we were met by all your guides promptly and easily each time we changed location. All the places we stayed at were fantastic and comfortable and very special. Our guide in Tanzania, Fidelis, was really really excellent and we had a lovely time with him. He was a very good spotter of animals for us and we had some fun with the bumpy roads!!! It was good not to be following the crowd of other cars all the time. Please thank him again for his care and for looking after us so well, we really enjoyed getting to know him. Zanzibar was very different but it was good to relax for a while and rest! The guide who took us on the spice tour was really good and the tour was excellent, our girls really enjoyed it very much. We enjoyed Stone Town and the tour and our little bit of shopping. He was very punctual and accomodating, which was exactlly what we needed. Takako and Eswar - August 2011 --------------------------------- Tanzania Adventure were wonderful and I cannot speak highly enough of them. They followed through with everything I had planned with Lucas Mombo, were really professional and attentive, and I have no hesitation in recommending them to other travellers. Our safari guide, Ibraham Jeffrey, was not only a very nice person and travel companion, but extremely knowledgable and terrific at spotting a vast number of things our untrained eyes would otherwise have missed. He made sure we had a wonderful adventure and was very flexible in our requests to stay a bit longer or stop off here and there. We had a really wonderful time and the organisation, accommodation and itinerary were all just perfect...it was the trip of a lifetime! In the Rivertrees and Mapito they offer us a special dinner for the honey moon. It was great and we were very happy. We really love mapito tented camp and gemma d'ell est. Elisa - June-July 2011 --------------------------------- One of my most memorable days was the special camp. We did not know what to expect. To learn of the animal's behavious and their personal space. To see them walk through the mist at a distant when the sun was rising was memorable. Annette you made the trip with your great communciation skills and ensuring our accomodations were in place. Denise - February-March 2011 --------------------------------- Hi Corina, Thought I would write to you with feedback following our recent trip. All 8 of us had an amazing time at Mount Kilimanjaro, 5 made it to Uhuru, myself and my wife (who had planned to wait at Horombo, making it to Gilmans Point) and Suvaran Kiss had to return back to Kibo, suffering from mountain sickness. The team supporting us, Fredrick (chief/guide), Paul, Gaudence and Joseph (guides), Amani and Juma (assistant guides), Elia (chef), Godlisten and Joseph (waiters) and the porters were all remarkable. We cannot thank them enough for the way they looked after us (from the time Hachim and Fredrick did an inspection of our equipment to our return and getting us our certificates). There was excellent planning every evening about the following days walk, the food was amazing, considering where we were, the effort taken by the guides to get us as far as we did and looking after the unwell (e.g.Paul assisting Suvaran down the mountain) was all brilliant, and we are very grateful to Fredrick and his team. Please pass on our regards to them. Our safari was just as brilliant. Amani in particular and also Lotien were great driver/guides. All the places we stayed at following your recommendation were brilliant. We enjoyed our stay at each of the places, so thanks very much. Lotiens vehicle broke down a couple of times, yet it was amazing the way they managed to fix it whilst in the Serengeti!!! We saw plenty of game. So thanks for everything, expect friends to be contacting you and a third trip from us is not totally out of question!! We say thank you very much for a very good organisation and thank you for the best driver of the world. Now I sent Julius a big letter to your office. Please give it to him, if you will get it. I wrote Personally to Julius on the letter so I hope he will reach it as soon as possible. He knows that he will get a big letter. Thank you very much and have a nice day. Hope to see you again, Cheers, Farhad - May 2011 --------------------------------- Dear Corina, Just a quick note to give you some feedback on our safari and to say a big thank you for arranging it all. We had a fabulous time and managed to see everything we wanted to see with close encounters with a leopard, a cheetah with her cubs and various lions as the real highlights. We also saw a Nile Monitor Lizard in the Tarangire river which was close to 2m long – loads of birds of prey and all the usual suspects like buffalo, elephants, giraffes, wildebeest etc, etc. The other highlight was to drive slowly through the migration of wildebeest – we've never seen so many animals together at one time, it was truly stunning! The Serena at Lake Manyara was fine – the others were absolutely amazing! We had no idea what to expect and were completely stunned when we were shown to our 'room' at Arusha Coffee Lodge and then things just seemed to get better as we went to Treetops, Migration Camp and, most notably, The Manor. The standard and quality of these lodges was way above expectations – finishing in the Plantation Suite back at Arusha Coffee Lodge was a wonderful end to what was an unforgettable safari experience. Gerald is a wonderful guide and driver and we got on with him extremely well – he was tireless in trying to find us the animals we really wanted to see and his knowledge of the various parks was amazing. Please do pass on our thanks to him when you next speak to him. I'm sure the qualities of the guide can make or break a safari and he certainly made ours. No complaints with any of the arrangements at all – all the people we met were, without exception, very friendly, welcoming and hospitable, some of the best service we've experienced anywhere in the world. To finish, we would just like to say a huge thank you to you – for holding our deposit for 2 years which was very generous and for then arranging such a fabulous safari for us.
