This short private safari covers the highlights of Tanzania with a 3 day tour to Lake Manyara and the Ngorongoro Crater, and 4 days beach holiday in Zanzibar at the renown Ocean Paradise Resort on the East Coast of the island.

This itinerary starts at Kilimanjaro Airport, and ends at Zanzibar Airport.

Day 2: Ngorongoro
Your Tour starts with the drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After arrival you  will decent . inside the Ngorongoro Crater which has been declared as a World Heritage Site. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species.

Overnight at Sopa Lodge at Ngorongoro. All meals included.

Day 3: Ngorongoro-Olduvai Gorge-Serengeti After breakfast you start on your way to Serengeti National Park. A picnic lunch will be provided. On the way you will stop at the Olduvai Gorge where anthropologists Louis and Mary Leakey made many significant discoveries, contributing to the theory that human life originated in Africa. After stopping for your picnic lunch on a kopje (rock outcropping) in Serengeti you will continue further into the park and go on a game drive.

Overnight at Mapito Tented Camp in Ikoma, North Central Serengeti. All meals included.

Day 4: Serengeti
A full day of game drives around Serengeti. Depending on the time of year and the migration of the herds you can expect to see wildebeest, lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, monkeys, baboons, hippos, rhinos, antelopes and many birds and other species.

Day 5: Serengeti-Zanzibar
Early morning game drive to see also nocturnal  predators returning from hunting and animals waking up in early morning light. After a lodge breakfast we take you to Seronera airstrip in the Serengeti, for your flight to Zanzibar. Transfer to the Ocean Paradise Resort (or other beach resort of your choice). Breakfast and dinner included.

Stonetown and Spice Tour
On one of your beach days you will go on a guided tour. After breakfast transfer to Stonetown for our Historical Stone Town Tour. This tour takes you through fabled Stone Town, where history appears to stand still. With visits to the House of Wonders, the Palace Museum (People's Palace) and the Arab Fort amongst others, it is a fascinating look at the essence of Zanzibar. You will see Zanzibar's bustling market, winding alleyways, ornately carved and studded doors, two cathedrals and countless mosques!

Afterwards you proceed to the famous Spice Plantations were we invite for an opulent lunch for you to taste the spices and fruits. . Afterwards you will do the famous Spice Tour. We have developed a special Spice Tour with in depth information not only about spices, but also organically grown herbs and a detailed description about their traditional uses in medicine cosmetics and cooking. After the tour we take you back to your hotel.

Days 6-7: Beach Hotel Zanzibar Relax and enjoy the East Coast of Zanzibar, and the surrounding area of the Ocean Paradise Resort. There are many watersports activities to get involved with. Breakfast and dinner included.

Day 8: Departure
Morning of leisure until transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your departure

We only organise private safaris, so only yourself and your travel partner(s) will be on the transfers, tours and in the safari vehicle! This means that your entire itinerary is flexible, including tour dates, destinations you visit, and activities you participate in.
